ERTA’s annual Winter Luncheon on Wednesday, December 9, 2026 is now accepting registrations! There will be a delicious roast turkey buffet with all the trimmings and the wonderful students from Archbishop MacNeil Catholic School will be providing holiday music for everyone to enjoy.  Register as soon as you can as this luncheon is always popular!

The now famous ERTA Wine Tastings are starting a new season at the MacTaggart branch of Wine and Beyond and the first one of the season is October 7, 2026. Register as soon as possible as they fill up fast!

Are you interested in developing your skills at pickleball?Join us for a 2 hour session including one hour of instruction from a certified coach and one hour of round robin play. Included is the coaching, your rental of the paddle and balls and round robin sheets. There will be a maximum of 16 participants for this session. Come have fun with your friends and colleagues!

Bring your friends and meet up with former colleagues to enjoy a tour and tasting at one of Canada’s most unique breweries! Blind Enthusiasm has a very interesting history in Edmonton, and has an inspiring presence in Edmonton’s new “Happy Beer Street”. This event includes a tour and a guided tasting. This tour was also held in June, with all participants expressing their complete enjoyment of the event (even the non-beer drinkers!). With a limit of 12 participants, this event is sure to sell out, so register early to ensure your spot!

Join us for a FREE guided tour of the Stanley Milner Library, organized by the Edmonton Retired Teachers’ Association! This amazing tour will cover all three public floors of the library, as well as the Children’s Library and Makerspace.

A Reading Buddy program was launched at Ellerslie Campus in 2026. Volunteers dedicate a consistent block of time each week to sit beside a student and listen, cue, encourage and mentor

a young reader.
