If you have not yet had occasion to participate in one of our events or volunteer opportunities, take a look at what is coming in the next couple of months! Our Program Committee is working hard to organize activities that are socially active and engaging, and each month will be adding new and exciting programs. | Introduction to Pickleball: January 22
Are you interested in learning to play pickleball? The Introduction to Pickleball session offered on October 23rd was so much fun, we decided to do another session. There are still spots available, so make sure you register before the January 8th deadline! This class is discounted for ERTA members! Click here for more information and to register.

Our Spring Luncheon will be here before you know it! We are changing the process for payment for the luncheon. Watch for more information and the registration form soon!

| Mayfield Dinner Theatre: March 25 One Night with Roy Orbison
Tickets for the March 25th brunch performance of One Night with Roy Orbison are available. Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Call Vi Oko at 780-459-8013 to book your seat. Then send a cheque, made payable to the Edmonton Retired Teachers’ Association, to 20 Glenhaven Crescent, St. Albert, AB T8N 1A5.

| Mayfield Dinner Theatre: May 7 Footloose, the Musical (ONLY 4 SEATS LEFT!)
For the first time ever, reservations have been made for the evening performance of Footloose, the Musical on Thursday, May 7. This event is discounted for ERTA members and their guests. Tickets are limited and available to purchase online! Go to the ERTA website to access the tickets and discount.

| Become a Reading Buddy
The Reading Buddy program involves adult volunteers sitting with students and listening to them read. Operating under the umbrella of the Edmonton Retired Teachers’ Association, volunteers would dedicate a consistent block of time each week to nurture and mentor young readers. | Support Field Trips at the Royal Alberta Museum
This volunteer opportunity is perfect for retired teachers looking to stay active in the community and reconnect with inquisitive minds, with a very low time commitment.
