Well spring has officially arrived but it still feels a wee bit like winter. Hopefully you are enjoying the change of the season and looking forward to warmer weather.

Are you interested in joining other retired teachers for a coffee and morning snack?

Square One Coffee (Windsor Park) is local friendly, provides great-tasting coffee and bakes their own treats and has a special mezzanine area that will be set aside for us. 

Come have fun with your friends and colleagues. Join in conversation, share memories, discuss current events, and foster connections. There is a maximum of 12-15 participants for this get-together, so register soon!

For the first time ever, reservations were made for the evening performance of Footloose, the Musical on Thursday, May 7. The discounted tickets for ERTA members and their guests were bought quickly.

Our day for participating in the ARTA Heart and Sole Wellness Walk is Thursday, June 4, 2026. Information regarding registration, where and when to meet, and the routes available is now on the ERTA website.  We hope you will plan to come out for some sunshine and camaraderie that afternoon!

Registration has opened for the Summer luncheon and ERTA’s Annual General Meeting. After the meeting, Edmonton Public Libraries will present an exciting range of new and popular tools, opportunities and services available to seniors.

Deadline for registering is June 3, 2026. Just a gentle reminder that ERTA now requires that luncheons be prepaid. Registration is now open, and payment can be made by cheque or etransfer. If you need assistance, please contact vpresidenterta@gmail.com.
