President’s Message

Spring 2025

We live in challenging times, and it is easy to feel discouraged when we listen to the news and hear some of the changes going on around us.  However, when I look at the people around me, I see hope for a brighter future.  We are receiving more and more ideas for new program initiatives.  Our program committee is reviewing ideas and some of them are being put in place while others are close to becoming a reality.  Members are not only proposing new programs, but they are putting in the time to organize these events.
We are also now very close to being able to release our new Mission, Vision and Value statements.  Work is beginning with our communication plan and budget plans, all of which I hope to see before the new year. Keep your eyes open to future editions of this newsletter and/or to postings on our website for full details as they become available. If you would like to join our board -please email me at presidenterta@gmail.com and I will forward your information to our nominating chair.
One other note I feel important to raise at this time is to ask you to keep your colleagues who are still working in your thoughts.  Even though COVID is not the issue it once was, other events have again put our school leaders and staff in tremendously stressful situations.  If you are in touch with any of these colleagues, please let them know they are in our thoughts and we have a great deal of respect for their professionalism and their perseverance in these very challenging times.
